I tried with a small Delrin ball on the guide to keep the distance. But it was not better.

I'm Daniel. Just read your post and was wondering if you got any further with the developing of this control method using the ESP32s.
Did you find an issue that prevented you from continuing the development? If it is a mechanical issue I could possibly be able to help work it out (or at least try).
Hopefully you are still working on this, sounded promising to me.
