The dimensions of the track.
I will probably make a few changes on the way.
I use the room as my workspace, so the biggest challenge was to make a functional workspace and a track in one room

Have you ideas for layout ?
Like making and overpass into the 'cupboard' to have better options for turns ?

Hi Kiklo
It's good to see some Magracing activity out there.
Now I've retired properly, I'd very much like to get back into the hobby but I can't see a way forward
without the easy availability of new cars and replacement parts to keep them running.
I currently have a Magracing McLaren (circa 2013) sitting stationary on my window ledge because the motor pinion
has worn out and I don't know where to look for a replacement. I really don't want to build a slot car track but I
might have no choice. Arrrgh!
Regarding your new track I would look at existing slot racing tracks and particularly the Magracing ones Wes built as he's the expert.
Best of luck
Jim

Yes, I have some ideas, but I have already changed the layout a little, so I need to re-draw it.
I want to make the track for 1/24 scale cars and I need to test how sharp my cars can turn.
Do you have a picture of your layout online? With your lane changes?
In the beginning of next week I will start to mount the MDF boards

Not trying to be the wise guy, but with that ceiling angle you better route the track before you mount it. I put some fences on my track before routing that was a bummer.

Hello Wes,
Replacement pinions - This is good news.
It's probably not wise to put my home address on the Forum and I can't find your contact details.
Perhaps you might still have my details?
Jim
