Latest News from Magnetic Racing

Post by HeliumFrog »

Our first batch of cars has been released today for sale on eBay. We seem to have sold two already before I could post here, so if you want one head over to ebay to purchase. We will try to get a batch of Alfas together soon for sale.

Hi Martin.

Looking forward to have a run.

I'm having trouble findings the right spare motor for my cars. Could you tell what are the spec for the motor you are using ?

Great design Martin and well executed. Very neat and clean.
I see that you soldered the motor leads to the magnets. Did that substantially reduce the strength of the magnet? I've read that excessive heat will ruin most magnets.
Your wiring and soldering is excellent. What SWG wire did you use?

Martin, do your cars work with the Flysky AFHDS 2A GFSK protocol or only the AFHDS GFSK protocol. I understand that the difference between the protocols is Telemetry Capability, or two way communication. AFHDS 2A has it; AFHDS does not. What is the significance of GFSK? Will any Tx work that uses the AFHDS or AFHDS 2A work, regardless of brand name?

The FlySky FS-GT2E 2CH Transmitter, which is less expensive, but supposedly has telemetry capability, is listed as having:
System Type: AFHDS 2A
Modulation: GFSK

The Flysky FS-GT3C 2.4Ghz 3CH Transmitter is listed as having:
System Type: AFHDS
Code type: GFSK

Is there a way to order or preorder one of these new generation chassis/cars?

We have another 5 cars and bodyshells available for sale. We have done a few improvements from the first batch of 5 as follows:-
Firmware improved to reduce jitter when stationary. Improved rear body mount and added locking pin. Please let me know if you want one. I wont put them on ebay for a few days to give anyone here first option on them.

I also have 5 Ferrari Body kits done. These have the improved driver model.

Great, thanks - I sent an email!

Sorry I didn't see the post until now.

Which radio would you recommend I purchase to best work with these cars?

Thanks!
