KK-P1 almost ready for race.
KK-P1 almost ready for race.
To get the JST-1.25 plug to fit I have to grind off some of the corner of the servo board plug to clear some component.
The power plug only have one hole in the board for the plug, the 2nd has to be bent 90 degrees and soldered on top - not ideal but works - AND wires need to be reversed as the plug will not fit the board the 'right' way.
Power to the motor plug is the easy one, fits between the other two.
The white wheels are my printed ones.

Sorry a bit to much horisontal play in the guide. Needs fixing.

Looks great! How does the steering servo override of the magnet steer work?
Re: KK-P1 almost ready for race.
The 2 'bar' magnets have there polarity apposed to the center one so they are repelling each other.
That centers the steering but with play to go, so the steering magnet following the rail can still steer.
Then there is the option to 'brute force' steer when the steering pivot arm's long throw hit one of the 2 'bar'.
Then you can over steer the rail even when there are no rail-gap.
