Working again, reset your cookies

Post by Keld »

Hi all, Happy new year 2019

Due to php upgrade on the server hosting I was forced to update the forum, this went wrong and so wrong that I had to get the database manually upgraded, and it took some time, i am sorry.

But we are back online and everything seems to work. ;)

If you have a problem to login, please reset your cookies on your browser, the new board can't understand the old boards cookies.

Good news and good to hear. The best news would be: there are "cars ready to race" for sale! I still want to construct a race track, but not make cars by myself.

I still hear about people that can't login to the fora, this is ONLY because of cookies on your own PC, there is nothing absolute nothing I can do.

You just need to clean up the cookies on your own PC.

And it is NOT the 'Delete cookies' you find on this page.

help can be found on google, depending on your browser etc.

I finally figured out how to login to the updated forum. For those of you like me, who are not familiar with the details of web browser software and cookies, here is some additional info. If you can’t login to the updated magracing forum, you need to delete only the cookies for magracingforum.com which are stored on your computer. You DO NOT have to delete all of the cookies on your computer. Cookies are stored within the browser software on your computer. The most popular browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Edge. If you use Chrome, for additional info go to google.com and search for “How to delete cookies from Chrome”. If you use Firefox, search for “How to delete cookies from Firefox”. Remember, you do NOT have to delete all cookies from your computer. Delete only cookies for the specific site, magracingforum.com.
