Re: Magracing concept

One of the reasons I like MAGracing is because I think these are the closest "Ready to Race" cars I have ever seen. The cars I received had their tires pre-sanded! Although I did find a tiny bit of flash on the front tires, near perfect! Now mounting the bodies has been a bit challenging.....

Re: Oval test track (go kart track) 4' by 8' - New York

Just thinking about changing motors, made me wonder how much amperage the speed control can handle. I don't remember seeing any specs. Does anyone know?

Speaking of wheels...

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed that the wheels are loose on the axles? They don't seem to move side ways but will turn with your hands. I'm guessing this is not a issue because of the low weight of the cars and low traction of the tires. Wes did you want them this way? I haven't read any...

Re: Filler containing metal as "slot"

Are you guys thinking of JB Weld? Its a kind of epoxy with metal filings in it, I think its made in the USA. It might just work, but I don't know if I'd want use to much of it for health reasons and expense.

Re: Circuit de l'Albion

That looks excellent Mike. I'm curious to see if the staples would work. It just dawned on me that the tracks might need to be designed to run in one direction only. Or could you make it work in both?

Good luck,

Re: Circuit de l'Albion

Your track looks great Mike. Good luck with the resurfacing, I'm looking forward to the results. Hmm just thought, could you use staples for the wire when you are using cardboard?

Re: Incline

Thanks Mike, I like your idea for testing. Hopefully it will work. It will be interesting to see how the cars run. Lots to learn.

Thanks for the dimensions Keld. I can get a head start on some other bodies.

DSCN0014c.jpg Hi All, Cars and batteries on order. Track designs and technical questions spinning in my brain. How much of an incline can the cars climb? After seeing Mikes post on reusing an existing track, could I resurface this? 4' 6" elevation change, would the cars climb it? Has anyone tr...

Re: Greetings

Hi All, Just sent in my order for some cars and controllers and hopefully we can get a track together soon here in Edmonton. I have been racing slots for years and would to try something new. Now to design a track.
