Hey, Wes any word on the Mini Track?

Any updates? Have had any races on it yet? Like to see a video if you have one.

Re: Howe to sense?

Yes Mike, Trackmate makes a MAGracing counter. It is a modified version of the transponder R/C system that he sells. I have a 4 lane version and paid $300.00 CAD, stock it has 2 lane sensors. Easy to set up and runs nice. Lasp I think Keld had one made for him. I think there was some discussion on h...

Re: Modular tracks

Here is a four car video with the multilane track. It looks like it will be fun. I need to complete the next dozen triple wire lane changes and paint it. Each lane has it's own racing line. The squeeze if for the four lap counter. Krusty (Randy) likes Marks driving. Paul http://youtu.be/kUjuFaAWN5U

Re: Modular tracks

'Yes the multiple wires are interesting and fun to drive. I think it may have some merit. Yes I enjoyed the race, we were right in front of the Ferrari pits and in the middle of a bunch of Tifiosi. We had lots of fun, the trains were trying at times but the environment was very neat. We also stopped...

A handy tool

To adjust the arm height and tighten the nuts on the car. A 4mm socket 1/4" drive. I put some green tape on it for grip and so it is easier to find on my messy work bench.

Re: Modular tracks

Back from holidays, 2 weeks in Italy and saw the F1 race at Monza. That was a blast! Now back to MAGracing. A modular oval to test some ideas. Still under construction but it is coming along. Ahhh! to many wires! I'm not sure I would recommend 7 lanes to anyone, this has been very tedious to build a...

Re: Where to buy battery and charger

Hi All, Just to follow up. The this is the best solution I have come up with so far, no mods to the cars. Just take a piece of tin can (about ten thousands thick) and cut a rectangle about 9mm x 18mm and fold it in half with a little kink on one side. Place it on the positive magnet in the car and i...

MAGracing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Thanks for letting us have a spot on the board Keld! I am hoping to use the space to help promote MAGracing here in Edmonton. I've got a few fellow slot racers that are interested in MAGracing and want to increase the membership. We are in the middle of incorporating the society and are actively loo...

Re: Where to buy battery and charger

I tried all of the twenty batteries that I just received and they are all the same, testing with a couple of different magnets.
The results are the same.

Re: Where to buy battery and charger

I ordered replacement Trustfire batteries from Manafont and received them yesterday. The service was great as Keld had mentioned. But I charged and tried them last night only to find that the positive contact is not magnetic! Maybe stainless steel? Anyway the body of the battery is much more magneti...
