Re: Bright Lights
Sorry Joel, I missed this post. Keld is correct that we should use resistors with the LED's or they will burn out at 4.2 volts. I don't think a capacitor would do anything other than keep the lights on for a minute after the battery died. I haven't spent any more time on them, but I'm sure they will...

Re: what to use for a lap counting system
We ran a couple of races on Friday night with the Trackmate lap counter. The reporting is very nice, the software automatically saves the races and accumulates the whole days races in one report as a .TXT file. Thanks again, Dan Here is a sample output. 10 Minute Race 5/24/2013 8:30:49 PM pos Name L...

Re: My third track
Thanks for the close up photo Luf, the router looks like it makes it easy to install the lane change plates to the correct height. In the corner you have three lane change plates the first is a lane change and then two racing lines, that's neat and if you miss one you will be delayed a fair bit. Tha...

Re: My third track
That's interesting Luf, so you are not using any lane change plates and have multiple racing lines. Could you show us an overall drawing of the track and detail of how you are doing the lane changes?
Looks very cool,
Paul

Re: 1/32nd vacuum formed bodies
I would tend to agree with Erik about the Patto's quality, I have purchased a few bodies and would call them poor at best. The decals I bought were half tones (made of small dots rather than solid colours), not what I was expecting. Tamar, I have seen Milan's work his cars look great!, but will they...

Re: Me Have Great Need
What about an adjustable front end like the Slot.It HRS2? It is not restricted to holes but finely adjustable.
