Re: Lots of new bodies just arrived (New and old)
Just an update on those that worked and ones that don't. First those that work great. 68 Matra, 67 Ferrari P3, Porsche 997, Riley Daytona prototype. Those that work if you fudge the wheelbase. Lancis LC1, jag XJR 5, Porsche 962c. Those that will work if extend wheelbase about 10mm. Lamborghini Gilar...

Re: Crossing Angles and a few other questions.
Brad... I would estimate 25-30 degrees to be the range of minimum crossing angle I would attempt. Having just completed a day of letting the public, which were primarily children "test drive" our cars I would say 5-7 is reasonable as an age to begin learning as long as you can exercise a d...

Re: Adjustable chassis.
Boy you guys have your work cut out for you!! Personally not sure can be scaled down a whole lot more. More likely is an adjustable chassis to lengthen the wheelbase for newer LMP and NASCAR bodies that are currently available. This will open up Magracing to many who have no interest in the earlier ...

Wes "knows" magracing
Having just completed a second track, I thought I'd pass along a few lessons learned. First is we could ALL learn by listening to Wes. Coming from a slot car background it seemed like it would be much easier and more positive to rout or groove the wire than glueing it to the surface. IT'S NOT! Use c...

Re: FREE TEST TRACK!
Wonderful! It would be great to meet you and discuss the details of your adjustable chassis. We'll be at the Home Depot in Covington, Washington, from 9am-2pm on Saturday May 25, offering parents and "responsible" kids free test drives. Have at least 3 cars available and maybe a fourth if ...

Re: FREE TEST TRACK!
I have to admit that after my first drive on the track my reaction was this is pretty mickey mouse. I believe this stemmed from already having a larger track where the cars speed can be better experienced, even if only for a brief moment. Obviously, this is nothing that can be changed in a small for...

FREE TEST TRACK!
Working at Home Depot, I convinced store management to allow me to build a small test track as well as a new mag racing car for a promotional give away this Memorial Day. I'm providing the labor and they have provided the materials as well as a car. Unfortunately you need to be present to enter the ...

Re: Modular tracks
Excellent!! Very nice use of combining modules. I love it and definitely believe this could work for mag racing and at far les complexity than the digital design it was made for.
