Re: modular track idea

Hi Kim, Thanks for the reply. I tried the same thing with adjusting the pot when it first happened, I thought it worked, then it didn't. It sat for a while, then when I used it, thinking it was still broken, it worked for maybe a half hour, then went back doing the same thing, really weird. I'm curi...

Re: modular track idea

Happy New Year, I just finished routing and gluing in my first wires for the modular track. My sections are 4' x 4'. My full size layout will be 10 sections, but just to get started I used 4 and can add the others later. Ideally 4' x 32" sections would be best, but the track layout would not wo...

modular track idea

I just ordered some counter top connector hardware and am going to try building track with 4' x 4' sections using 1/4" MDF and 1/4" plywood with a 3/4" poplar and pine frame sandwiched in between to give rigidity and something for these devices to work in. At this size one person shou...

Re: Contact Greenweld

And just a question Ned,

The link you provided and part number CDT0091 was for brass spring strip, not bronze which is CDT0090.

Which is the one you are using with your chassis, or which is the preferred to use. Either would probably work, I just don't want to get both.

Thanks

Re: Contact Greenweld

Well, Greenweld is in business after all.

The e-mails I sent must have ended up as spam, but I did call and sent another to the following address and did get a reply:

chris.knight@permex.co.uk

Just a note, they are closed for the holidays until Jan. 3rd.

Contact Greenweld

Does anyone know if Greenweld in the UK is still in business?

I'm trying to purchase some bronze spring strip as used in Ned's chassis for battery contacts. I've sent three e-mails with no response. They say to e-mail them with any questions.

Thanks

Re: BRW 2 in progress.

Kim K.

Looks like everything is working as planned. Good job!

Just curious, what are the dimensions of the layout.

Be sure to post when you get a good race going.

Re: ,, i created a monster ,,

Hi, I just got around to reading this post. Amazing running the two motors. I guess the speed control can handle both. Does anyone know any specs on the stock motors or the speed control to see if there might be any other options for motors without frying anything. Even with a motor that might turn ...

What's the latest with batteries

I've read some posts about batteries, but they are somewhat dated. What batteries are any of you active members using lately and which is preferred, protected or not? Also which charger and where to get everything. I've seen them on Ebay and Amazon, just looking for advice so I don't waste time and ...
