Re: MAGracers for sale
Hi Joel, I quite like the cars they are a blast. But I still enjoy the slots and have been into 1/24 lately.
Asking price would be $685.00 USD and about $30 to $50 with $100 insurance depending how fast you would like it. I am open to offers.

Re: NASCAR
The Ford looks great Wes! I think they will generate a lot of interest. I've got two ovals and they are a blast! Can we see how you mounted the body? Either very long screws or... what? Are they for sale as a part?

Re: NASCAR Ovals
That's no trouble Wes, a little rubbing is ok. The paint stripe that you get on the rear fender would be called a Leicester stripe.

Re: battery repels magnet
Yes, I have a whole bunch of them. Well at least you only got two! They will pop out of the car, but work in the controllers as you said. I did find a solution by soldering a piece of 10 thou. steel like the lane change plate to the battery. Be careful not to much heat or you might damage the batter...

Re: Trackmate sells a lap counter system for MAGracing?
Hi Bert, I have a Trackmate lap counter. It works very well, Luf in Vancouver has one also. I ordered it with two extra sensors so i could count four lanes only because I wanted to do a multilane oval. The sensors were $80.00 extra. I would recommend the system it works well.

Re: Where to buy battery and charger
Well the clips don't work as reliably as they should, sometimes they will pop out of the car in a crash. So the next test has been to solder some 10 thousands steel plate (same as lane change plate) punched out with a paper hole punch. I soldered with flux and radio solder as quickly as possible to ...

Great thread! Hi all, so Wes you mentioned that the 3mm at each end helps at high speeds, what is the theory behind that so I understand the logic.

Re: Seems to be work ahead...
Welcome Jens, Looking forward to seeing your landscaping prowess applied to MAGracing!
Only trouble is that it is nice to have room to reverse and drive back onto the track. Have got any of the cars yet?
