Those look perfect for magracing. The price sure is right. How big is the receiver? I couldn't tell on the Aliexpress site.

Kim
The link you provided is for a different ESC than you have. I did find one that looks like yours for a lot more money.

Re: 1:32 CH01-23 first tests
Kim, You Probably know that you can use a short piece of wire, about 30mm, for the antenna instead of the long coax the receiver came with.
Your car designs have evolved into a very professional package. Good work! Looking forward to a video.

Re: Testing ESC - needed.
Kim, Turbo? If you have room for another servo you can wire it in parallel with the motor. At full throttle the servo could close contacts that bypass the ESC. both sides of the battery need to connect directly to the motor through separate contacts. Probably hard to find space in 1/32 but OK in 1/2...

Re: Is anybody out there?
I'm sorry, Wes, that your effort to promote your invention hasn't worked out. Here in the US no one builds stuff themselves so without ready to snap together track .... Perhaps it all requires too much commitment for most people everywhere. I built narrow gauge trains in HO scale most of my adult li...

Is anybody out there?
I fear that this forum is about done. :( I know I haven't contributed anything for a long time so I shouldn't complain. Is anybody still working on cars or track? Or perhaps racing I'm thinking I'll try building a 1/24 th scale car and a portable track using the foam board Ned promoted. If anyone ha...

Re: ESCs and experiences.
The ESC that claims to be brushless is really brushed. A brushless controller would have three connections for the motor rather than two. I'll think about the "turbo lag". https://www.banggood.com/MicroRC-5A-Bi-Directional-Brushed-ESC-For-RC-Car-p-1056732.html?rmmds=detail-left-hotproducts...

Re: ESCs and experiences.
Kiklo, I wonder if you have forward and reverse exchanged on your troublesome ESC. If it has brakes that's the way it should work but in reverse. You can try swapping the motor wires and reversing the throttle at the transmitter. Then again I may be full of crap. I used to contribute to this forum a...

Re: Slot.it Ferrari 312 PB converted to MagRacer
I'm impressed, Ned. I never considered trying to keep the interior detail. I've been happy if all the electronics will fit inside a closed body.
