Looks promising Kim. Do you plan to make a 1:32 version?

Re: Id4u-CH01-32-ReIb-Vario-87-110mm
Kim, I assume you are trying to design a chassis with an adjustable wheelbase. Are you considering making the chassis in 2 sections, a front section and a back section? Then you are wondering how to connect the 2 sections. Is that correct? First note, based on my experience and testing, a rigid chas...

Re: Alternative battery?
The LiitoKala Lii-14A 18500 1400mah rechargeable Battery 18500 battery 3.7V should work fine if there is room for it in a 1:24 chassis. The long delivery time may be a problem for some people: over 2 months to the U.S.

What is the wheelbase of the chassis in the photo?
What is the distance between the front wheels, when measured from the outside of one to the outside of the other?
Is the wheelbase adjustable?

Re: 1:32 and 1:24 Comparison.
Do both cars have the same motor? The same gear ratio? If the cars have the same motor and gear ratio, the 1/24 car should run faster at top speed, since it has bigger diameter tires. Of course that's true only if the motor provides enough power. Lap speeds will be dependent upon the handling and ac...

Great progress Kim! Looking very good! For a portable track that is placed on a firm foundation, you might be able to hold the panels together with Velcro.

Re: Track routing with Maslow-cnc 0.7mm bit
Kim, I’m very surprised that you didn’t break a lot of router bits. In my opinion, the MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) that I’ve used in this country for various projects is very hard; way too hard to cut with a 0.7mm router bit in a hand held Dremel tool. I suggest that you seriously consider using...
