My 1/24 cars are running well now and progress is slow but steady. Pic shows my 1/24 Ferrari 312pb. This car was perhaps the shortest wheelbase WSC sports car (about 95mm in 1/24) so if everything fits in there can be no problem. The track rod/steering servo arm magnets are now 4mm dia. and the servo is clamped in place so the magnet gap can be adjusted.
the track rod is suspended in the air by these magnets so there is minimal friction. Chassis would be routed from 2mm sheet and wheels, front suspension( cars have a flexi front axle) battery box, etc. will be 3d printed.
One car is fitted with the Magnetic Racing rx/esc board. This has a strong brake action but this is ok for the heavier 1/24 cars. It make a very simple and neat car.
Not sure if this will be available however so I am concentrating on the std. Flysky rx with a std. servo and one of the two 2 amp escs available.
Cars are surprisingly fast using the original motor and gearing. The rear tyres are of course larger in diam. and the increased cornering speeds with the rubber tyres means that the cars enter the straights at higher speeds.

Good looking body and chassis Wes. Now you need to design that chassis with an adjustable wheelbase.
