Everywhere I have read is stating that magracing.co.uk is the only site that provides the cars for Magracing, but everytime I go there the URL is broken/does not work.

Was the site abandoned? Moved?

I'm very interesting in getting into the hobby any information would be great thanks!

yes/no maybe, long story:

Wes who invented Magracing sold his business to Martin after he sold out of his cars from 1. production.

But there was something with ownership of the homepage that gave a problem to move it over.
So Martin has a new page, but is not ready with new cars.
therefore a new site: MagneticRacing

If you can't wait I have 1 single car for sale, with extra bodies, you can PM me if interested. but no controller :(

Hi Keld,

I have recently discovered this. I have a ninco digital system and would like to build a track for magracing.

Your last post on this topic here was in March 17.

Has there been any movement since then?

Are controllers/transmitters available yet?
What about car electronics?

There are so many youtube videos and even "oldslotracer" built a magtrack over his fantastic routed one....

Please tell me it was not a flash in the pan.

All the best
Geoff

Hi Geoff

Ask Martin (heliumfrog) how close he is to deliver new cars etc.

You can convert your 1/32 slot cars to magracers using off the shelf 2.4ghz RC gear and one of my chassis kits. See my post on 04/03/2018 at http://magracingforum.com/viewtopic.php ... 8&start=10

Porsche Bodyshell up for sale

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112971651001 £10

Ferrari Bodyshell also

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/112971652107

We now have a new batch of Car Electronics (PCBs) done and these will be out in the next few days for anyone building their own chassis. I'm just sorting out the instruction sheet to go with them. I have removed the reset switch on these boards so they are a much lower profile. These will be pre programmed with the latest firmware which includes the "Cruise Control" on channel 3.

Adjustable chassis is also very near completion, first batch coming very soon.

I'm interested in one of your PCBs. What are the dimensions?
Aside from not being able to take advantage of "Cruise Control" feature using channel 3, is your PCB compatible with the Flysky FS-GT2E AFHDS 2A 2.4ghz 2CH Radio System Transmitter
https://www.amazon.com/Flysky-FS-GT2E-2 ... gt3c&psc=1
I believe the FS-GT2E uses a newer protocol known as AFHDS 2A with GFSK Modulation. The Flysky FS-GT2B uses AFHDS with GFSK Modulation.

I have a HK-GT2E transmitter which is a HobbyKing branded FS-GT2E. It uses AFHDS 2A with GFSK Modulation. I'd like to know if I need to order a new transmitter to work with your PCB, which I suspect uses AFHDS. Perhaps the following chart will help.

The only two transmitters I can confirm will work are the Flysky FS-GT2B and Flysky FS-GT3C as these are the only ones I have.
I have had a look at the protocol and it seems the newer 2A protocol is only different in the use of extra filtering on the signal. The data packets and frequency shifting appear to be the same. so it is likely to work OK as far as I can see.

I wonder if http://www.magneticracing.com is still active. I wrote them two messages, but did not get any reply. Thats what I wrote:

"hallo, I am interested in building a magracing track with your cars, but they are very rarely available in your shop (eBay) Also you have on your Webpage 2 "Coming soon" cars, which did not come very soon so far ;-) Are you still producing Magracing Cars?

To be shure: to built a track I need cars, Transmitter, piano wire, wood for the track and a lap counting System (big question: WHICH?). Need/no need for lane changeing plates?

Thank you for your Reply/info."[/color]

Does anybody know more about them? Would be a pitty if they do not have the cars anymore, or develop new ones. I want to build a magracing track, but do not want to construct a car by myself, or make a handycraft work out of a lot of parts. Any help or ideas?
