Something to try as Tire Tape?

Anyone try something like this for the tires?

I am dubious. It looks far too thick to me and the texture looks too bumpy. You really don't want to increase grip by very much with these cars. The experience will become like driving slot cars with magnets. Better to let them slip around a little bit. Too much grip in the rear will lead to an understeer situation. These cars have very limited power as compared to slot cars so traction isn't overwhelmed with what is currently available. If you need a bit more, I suggest Wes's masking tape solution. It should give you a little more grip but not overwhelming grip.

When its come to MagRacing. Just let it be and have fun.
You can test with a small ring of a rubberglowes or just the neck of a ballon.

hello, i took a coat for elektrowires,if you heat it up with a hairdryer or a cigarretlighter it will pull itself together until it fits on the wheels. griplevel is perfect on my track surfaceImage[/[url=http://www.fotos-hochladen.net/view/dsc ... yipmkb.jpg]Imageurl]
