To control the cars RC equipment is used.

A small 1 Cell rechargeable 3.7V battery supplies power to radio, steering and motor.

Typical 15-30 minutes of driving is obtained on one charge.

'Unlimited' number of cars can run at the same time.

At a certain point standard RC equipment surpassed the capabilities of the original radio-system.

Wes let http://www.magneticracing.com/cars/cars.html
develop a new radio receiver and using a std RC-transmitter to take the system further.
Chassis was the developed and they used 3D-printing for production.
This production have no stopped after selling less than 100 units.(assumption)

We now see people testing both 1/32 and 1/24 scale chassis that use relatively inexpensive standard 2.4GHz RC equipment.

Some of these chassis can be fitted to slot car bodies.

Ready to run chassis will likely be available for sale down the road.

Have you sorted out how steep a hill climb should be, or rather the arc of the change in climb can be ?
You seems to have got the like of this layout of yours. Understandable. :-)

Cars seem to accelerate up the hill ok, not sure what the angle is. The hair pin curve bottom left on the photo has been raised since this photo (there is a pic. somewhere I am sure) to slow the cars coming down the slope from the raised area.
This was helpful for cars without a brake. Now we have a brake on the latest new esc, this is of course not so necessary.
This new esc, which I wrote about continues to go well. I play (sorry test run it) every day. I have bought 2 more.
