Re: Suggestions Sought for New Chassis Design

Good idea with this thread :-) And I also agree that it is mainly the adjustable wheelbase that is needed, the car, steering and electronics works just perfect :-) Some time ago I made this chassis, a very simple version of a adjustable chassis. https://www.shapeways.com/product/DNKPW2CNE/magracing-...

Re: Magracing notes, Nov. 2015

By the way, I have created the chassis in Google SketchUp, a free program that is very easy to use. I can recommend this program to everyone who want to get started with 3D design.

Hi Wes, What about going the 3D printing way? The quality today is really great and you dont need a stock. I would focus on the chassis and then choose 10-20 bodies from other brands, like slot cars bodies and then make 2-5 chassis versions in 3D that can fit these the bodies. It would be a lot chea...

I have designed the chasis so it will work as a normal R/C car and a MagRacer car. A s...

Re: My MagDragster

My test track is now 3 x 120 cm. I have 3 test plates on the floor in my workspace. For the surface if use the plaster method and I like it because it gives a very realistic track surface and with the right paint it looks great. The wire I use is a lot thicker, than what I use for circuit racing to ...
