blst, i did try something like that 10 years ago at the nürnberg toy messe, worked that way that when 2 cars was next to each other they both stay ind the lane so no collision was forced. If the gear is not in correct place, yes it will be a problem, but for most people they would never find out. I talked to wes about that and he asked the producent and the answer was no, it will probertly burn. 10 volt to a 180 gr slotcar is fine 160 gr is fast with 10 volt and the motor take not more than 3 amp when starting, 0,6 when driving. nobody will ever drive in the inner lane on that track NEVER because the magnet are not strong as a guide on a slotcar, so the speed in the inner corner is much lower than the outside, and on top of that you only have made race line on the outside, that a mistake. I notice you have the racing line going through the turn starting at the outside, crossing over two straight lines to the inside, then crossing back over the lines going out of the turn back to the outside.
