Re: Nascar type oval will need much more space

Mike, WOW, thanks for the info and your bullring looks cool also. I was going by the races on the tube, watching the race lines of diff. drivers but I guess their lines depend on tire wear(componds) and fine turned adjustments to ride height and springs stiffness etc. I was thinking down the way WHE...

Re: Alternate Lane Layouts?

Joel, Think from what is said about the lane change Y and having to use the plate that Wes sells and making sure it is positioned correct so the lane change will work. Thats another test for the test track hehe. Might have to leave a space at the junction like HO train tracks, as the car will not ma...

Re: Can-Am & Group 5 bodies

Hello all, My nascar snap-tite (level 1) 1/32 plastic kits are 3 3/8" WB and 3 1/2" WB between (6 diff. cars), nascar from the 90's thunderbirds and Lumina brands. Pick these up on ebay and some online hobby stores for around $8.00 each plus shipping. Wes WB is about 3" on his frames....

Re: Alternate Lane Layouts?

I am waiting for my batterys also and I have many ideas to try on lanes layouts and their numbers also. Like I said about the oval (which will have to wait for more space to play with). Mike, can you draw some test lanes layouts and post them?

Nascar type oval will need much more space

8-) Greeting from WNY My plans have changed since I laid out the oval on paper. I found out the planned size (4x8 feet) takes up 4 ft. of the straights (8ft. length planned for room limitation). I have 5 lanes drawn without lane changers and no space for a pit lane (which is a MUST). I have to keep ...

We have to get together on the frames also so we can enlarge our stable of cool race cars without alot ...

Anyone know if Wes is going to offer recievers for sale

:geek: Hello you crazy magracers, Any word on recievers for sale to be used with the mag steering on longer WB frames that we will have to make/convert? Not wanting to step on Wes' toes, for a lack of better words. but all 6 of my Nascar bodies need longer WB's so I will be enlarging the original fr...

Wes suggested a min 9" R. corner

Hello all, I am starting to lay the wood for track and cover it with 3/8" thick masonite (pegboard without the holes) so I can do slight hills and declines without messing up the mag steering by dragging it on track. I will let forum know how the 9" r. corners do on my test section. Love t...
