Re: Can anyone please post a photo of the inside of wheel/ti
Hi all I think the tire/wheel are all one piece of plastic and I will not tear my only operating car apart to find out. Are we going to go to adustable WB & width with tire/wheel combos like I posted in my above post? If so we better try to make all the adjustments as a group before we all go of...

Re: Greetings from another slotracer
;) Kai, Thanks for the info , guess I will go to microMark and get resin for wheels and try diff. slot tires or make them with the tire rubber MM has to sell. Make the wheel/tire mold with rubber mold material and go from there. We have to get better tires on these cool machines and don't worry Wes ...

I have a question then with your background. What can we do to better the tires that Wes has made to improve the traction some? Other then using a tape or liquid painted on them?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Greetings from another slotracer
:ugeek:Welcome from WNY state USA, We are finding many things that are close but still better then slots. Simple layout and no routing and you just have to pay attention to your curves and if you are limited with space, this can be fun , if you know what I mean? I am working on a 4 foot by 8 foot ta...

Re: Can-Am & Group 5 bodies
Joel and Mike,
I feel I'm not helping at all, is there anything I can do or work on to help you guys with the frames/bodies?
Can balsa wood used to make bodies molds, for vac machines? Or should a harder type wood be used?

Re: The Racing Line
To all, Thanks for the info Wes and I well know the benefit on consistent corner speeds to over all reductions in you lap times. I have 6 comp. 4 stroke karts in garage/covered 14 ft trailer and one 35 HP 2 stroke that will really show how following the racing line can help your laps or if you screw...

Re: Nascar type oval will need much more space
Mike Thanks for the reminder on the inside pit lane, think the 3 lanes might be the way to go and then make alot of lane angles and try the cross over on a test board. I was thinking of doing the slot track bank by cutting the corners a bit short then finish pulling them to make a 180 degree corner....

Re: Can-Am & Group 5 bodies
Mike, Another great idea, thanks and your knowledge is showing your experience with the small size racers of all types. I was going to get back to molding rubber forms to cast resin parts as I need them. Another member of forum is is going to be making frames and vac. form bodies so we will be good,...
